Are these good Extra Curriculars?

I want to know if these can help me get into competitive to very competitive schools:

Vice President of National Honors Society

Guardian in Honor Flight (helping War Veterans)

Junior Mentors (Mentoring 8th graders)

I Can (Mentoring 2nd graders)

Baseball (Given award voted by team every year)

Youth at the Booth (High School students working the polls on election day; paid)

My grades are pretty good, 4.17 GPA, 18 of 289, 1960 SAT (took the last test so will probably improve). Im a Senior so I’m running out of time to add more extracurriculars but I will try if I need to. Thanks

What schools?

chance me please

Im thinking Ohio State and Miami (Ohio) for the lesser competitive, UNC Chapel Hill for the more competitive, and Washington University in St.Louis for the most competitive schools I will be applying to. These are schools I am thinking about right now but my mind is still open to anything.

What is your unweighted

Read the sticy thread:

Seems pretty good for like UCI, UCLA, UCR, and UCD.

I think overall you have a very good chance. If your SAT can be above 2000, you sure are going to good schools but right now, you are fine.

take the SAT again, you have a better shot with >2000 score.

Well I got the latest scores back and my new super-score is 2000 and but my best sitting is 1930. I don’t think WUSTL is going to work out but I’m still trying for the others.

I think your ECs should be good for the schools you want to apply to. But, my first impression is that you do a lot of stuff, but nothing that stands out particularly.

I agree probably not wash u. They are big on super involved leaders with hours contributed weekly. Great score on sat though and I’m sure plenty of ap and honors. Unc takes 80% from in state so you really need the ec’s to stand out. Go for all the awards you can. Mentoring and veterans most impressive. Nhs just okay. How about outside of school? Special Olympics or food pantries could add more community hours. Grab any leadership positions you can or start a new project in nhs you can take credit for ( maybe helping a food pantry and coordinating member volunteers). Go for it. They love leaders.
