Syracuse University - someone told me that it’s a good school but basically anyone with money can get in</p>

<p>washington and lee is by far the best of the three, followed by syracuse, then american. i don’t know who told you the bit about “anyone with money” being able to get into syracuse; the school does not have terribly competitive admissions. if anything, i would (sadly) associate money with W&L more than the other two.</p>

American: 1267 avg SAT, 47% in top 10% of class, 51% accepted
Syracuse: 1220 avg SAT, 44% in top 10% of class, 65% accepted</p>

<p>this year’s stats for W&L (straight from the school) are 27% acceptance, 2090 avg SAT (700 V 700 M 690 W).</p>
