<p>Help! All those companies trying to get our money who purport to help with applications, essays, FAFSAs, loans, etc, are they really worth it? Or can we do this ourselves? Please share your experience with me!</p>
<p>Generally speaking “they” are Not worth it and CC is a great resource to find much info. You might pay for elsewhere. There are amazing people on this site who know TONS about the process, and are willing to share for free.</p>
<p>I would not pay for those services, simply because I’m a control freak. And I am the one who has my kids’ best interest at heart, so I’ll work harder than any other service provider would.</p>
<p>Although, I HAVE considered selling resource materials before, as I’m pretty sure many on CC have. LOL. Lots of research that anyone can do. It’s just time-consuming.</p>
