Are we allowed to hand deliver transcripts? As long as it’s sealed and everything of course. For anyone with experience, do you hand it to someone there? Or is there some box you slip it into?

Thankss

Yes, as long as they’re in the original, sealed envelope. You can just bring it to the front desk at 1147 Murphy Hall and maybe attach a post-it note with your full name and UCLA ID number on it.

Okay thanks a lot alicantedkid. Do you think I could just write my name and id on the envelope itself? I just feel like a post it could fall of real easily…Is that how you submitted your transcripts?

I’m looking at my school’s official transcript site (SMC) and it says this: Rush- Hand Carries: which will be available for pick-up the 3rd business day (Monday - Thursday ONLY), after 1:00pm, AFTER receiving your signed authorization.

Do you possibly know what they mean by ‘AFTER receiving your signed authorization’?

Thanks so much

Sure, I don’t see why you couldn’t just write your name/ID on the envelope itself. As long as the envelope isn’t opened, then it’s still official.

I have no idea what the SMC transcript site means by that. You probably need to somehow authorize the registrar to release an official transcript for hand-carry and maybe there’s a form you need to fill out and sign. Just call them and ask.
