I am very specific in the statement of goods manufactured offshore.

If an international corporation wants to manufacture their goods in the US, then I am all for them remaining untarrifed. If a US international corporation wants to manufacture goods offshore and bring them back into the US, then I would like those goods to be tarrifed.

There is no credible evidence that the US benefits from supposed free trade agreements with countries who protect their own economies. Yes, there is a trade-off, but NET, the US workers and economy will benefit Long term from looking out for the interest of our own workers.

You cannot play a game by free trade rules when those rules are not actually being followed by everyone. the only winners, in the US, at least, are the executives in the international corporations. As we can see, this is not an effective model for job growth, even if it is an effective model for profit growth. Do we only care about profit? At the expense of our laborers? this is where we jump the tracks.
