<p>On Andover website “welcome newly admitted students”, it says:</p>

<p>“after listening to more than 350 CDs, the music department informs us that we have accepted 30 top young musicians from around the world.”</p>

<p>Do you know if you are one of the 30? How do you know? Has a faculty member from the music department contacted you?</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure I’m one of the 30 (not to be pompous or anything). I had a private audition at Andover(they seemed to be happy when I was done) and had a talk with all the music directors. Also they even sent me a personal letter(which completely won me over) after they learned of my acceptance. In the letter it stated “One of the top performances we have heard” so… yeah</p>

<p>Yes, tiger, you made your case - you must be one of 30. I didn’t know anything about “private audition” though. Did you just request one, or did they offer you one?</p>
