Please stop with the Richard Sherman hate. For everyone who hasn’t watched an NFL game this season before the game, trash talking in ther NFL goes on all game long. Just because Erin Andrews would prefer to talk about probiotics doesn’t make Richard Sherman a thug.

I don’t think that’s going to happen just because you say so.

He made an ass of himself, and people are going to react to it. Sorry, but it’s already out there.

Im used to Lou Pinella, and he had " mellowed" by the time he came to Seattle.

Sherman is not my favorite, but its not like being a dick is unusual in pro sports.

^^^^^^^^^lol.

"I don’t think that’s going to happen just because you say so. "

And all of white America has to be outraged just because you say so. Isn’t Downton Abbey on?

So funny emeralkity4

Yes it does.

So to let it get so under your skin, that instead of celebrating a team victory that you played a significant part in, you scream on national TV that “I am the best” and “they were saying things about me” or whatever he was prattling about, is just pathetic.

Seems like it is ok for Sherman to trash-talk, but no one can do it back to him.

Lighten up, Francis. And the race card, really?

How is this a race issue?

If Wes Welker has done that after that Broncos game, everyone would be calling him out too.

“He made an ass of himself, and people are going to react to it. Sorry, but it’s already out there.”

Just watching the replays, and right before Sherman makes his choking move, he gets pushed rather violently by the guy he makes the move on. So…if you look at the entire picture, it’s not exactly for no reason. According to my husband, he’s usually a pretty positive guy, and not doing that kind of thing all the time. Thankfully.

I suspect those who wanted SF to win are enraged, and those who wanted Seattle to win will forgive such things. They seem to do plenty of violent things to each other constantly. It’s a matter of who gets called on it, and who is on camera.

Sherman didn’t even make the cut.

I don’t condone the kind of comments Sherman made just a few moments after he made the play of the game. We don’t know what kind of taunting that went on between him and that Craptree all game long.

Feel happy for Sherman & Baldwin - [two guys in Seattle who have been through the Harbaugh car wash … and they didn’t really find success until they graduated from it.](http://nfl.si.com/2014/01/18/doug-baldwin-richard-sherman-jim-harbaugh-pete-carroll/)

I didn’t really care who won.

The SH quarterback seems to be a class act. He’s not shouting into the camera how great he is, and I’m sure he gets a fair amount of trash talk. And I believe Crabtree does his share, so of course it’s not unheard of. But Sherman just seemed classless, in great contrast to his quarterback.

I’m a Peyton Manning fan, so I’ll be rooting for the Broncos no matter what one hysterical defender does or says. Peyton is just smart, has been through a lot and has come through it, and he’s funny as hell. At the end of the day, though, it’s a game for me. I’ll forget about it the next day.

Another Peyton Manning fan here and I am so glad that those patriots didn’t make it to the Super Bowl.

He embarrassed himself and his organization. Taunting during the game fine but on national TV he basically came across as a thug. At least there is some class on the Denver side with Manning.

So for the SF/ Seattle game, the respective governors were betting cases of wine.
For the next game, the stakes will be * higher*.

Other than hitting the notes on pitch, she did really well.

Towards the end, it started to sound a little more like Ted Nugent’s Cat Scratch Fever…

Yeah, I was excited with all my "heart "for the anthem…but yeah, it was pretty bad. If your range is restricted by age, don’t try for the octive…

SF got a crucial 15 yd penalty for a light shove; commentators objected. SF punter was clearly roughed (said commentators) preventing crucial first down, after which Sea scored. Sea looked stronger, but bad calls shouldn’t determine outcome. The bad call (said commentators) on the fumble recovery at the end wasn’t a factor.

Mainly because Seattle lost the ball on downs the next play trying to get a touchdown. Although if they had gotten a touchdown on what was effectively a free additional chance from that bad call, that bad call (which was the most obvious one in the replays) would have had a much bigger effect.

The roughing versus running into the kicker judgement call was the one that likely had a much bigger effect.
