What Carroll said actually kind of makes sense. NE had brought in all of their goal line defense people to stop exactly the kind of rush you’d expect Lynch to make. Could they have stopped him 3 times? Probably not. But the Hawks figured the last thing the Pats would be expecting was a pass. And the Seahawks do score a lot of points doing the unexpected. If it hadn’t been for what really was a remarkable interception, it would have worked.
She should have it done tonight.

yep - then you would have know that they gave it their all and NE had an epic goal line stand. It is still epic for NE but I don’t feel like they gave it their best try at the end

Yeah, that kid was hyperventilating for 10 minutes afterward. And kudos to him, epic play that will be on every highlight reel of Super Bowl XLIX from now until the end of time.
^ I agree it would have been better to lose by trying your best but not making it, rather than losing by being bone-headed.
On the other hand, saintfan’s situation puts all this in perspective. Football is great, but it is a game after all. Our kids and our familes are what’s really important. Hope your son is ok.
