Not to get off track but he and his GF are HILARIOUS together (and on Instagram!)
I feel better - Lergnom gives #12 credit for being a terrific quarterback.

Rodgers killed Seattle on free plays and as jumpy as Bennett is itās candy from a baby to get them.
And Brady got them to jump on the play after Butlerās pick, giving them the room they needed to kneel down for the end of the game.
Sad to see NE traded Michael Hoomanawanui to NO. Iāll miss the longest (?) last name in the NFL. Itās o-o-man-a-wa-nu-i. Or Hooman for short or H-man for shorter. I think NE got back a DE named Akiem Hicks. I would guess the trade is about opportunity: H-man had no future here so they moved him for potential.
Iām sure that the rest of the nfl is thrilled that Brady is now using allegedly properly inflated footballs, as it has brought him back to earth (CC needs a sarcasm font!!!) Maybe he needs underinflated footballs so as to appear as merely human.
[This article](Patriotsā innovative offensive line combos make foes dizzy ā Boston Herald) is about something I see NE doing: constantly changing offensive linemen, sometimes series by series - even at times within a drive if the offense huddles - and the guys sometimes shift positions on the line. Are other teams doing this? I donāt pay that close attention to substitutions in the ordinary game on TV. As the article points out, NE changes guards a lot but they also sometimes move tackles. The only constant has been the center, who is btw a rookie. (The starting center, a rookie last year, is out.) This is really hard for the players to do, which I think must be part of the point: demand more, get more, not by threat but by challenging them mentally and physically.
Remember when players always lined up at the same spot on both lines? Continuity was the goal and it was taken for granted that was a key ingredient to success. Now they move guys all over. The announcers point this out with star players - Clay Matthews plays all 3 LB positions and they count how often his hand is down, etc. - but they donāt talk about how much work it takes to learn each of these positions in each defensive call with each defensive responsibility. It shows why dumb players donāt last in the NFL. So now theyāll say the key ingredient to success is lack of continuity?
Canāt believe Pittsburgh is blowing this game.
Meanwhile, this made me laugh:
[Jets ship 350 rolls of toilet paper to London](http://espn.go.com/blog/newyork/jets/post/_/id/54664/please-dont-squeeze-the-charmin-jets-ship-350-rolls-of-toilet-paper-to-london)
If the Steelers donāt trust their kicker in overtime for a 50 yard field goal⦠they will be looking for a new kicker tomorrow.
They may be anyway, after missing two tonight.
NRE, maybe they were planning to TP Big Ben. Perhaps they thought it was the football Big Ben? Itās possible. This is, after all, the Jetsā¦
Congratulations to all NFL players as a group.
For the first time in 15 years, they managed to go an entire calendar month during the season (September 2015) without a single player getting arrested.
But then thereās this: former NE/Miami receiver Irving Fryer sentenced to 5 years for mortgage fraud. Here.
I guess the arrest of a playerās wife doesnāt count.
Saw the Miami/NYJ game. Question: which is worse, the Miami offensive line or the Miami defensive line? The answer might be one of the paradoxes that canāt be solved.
Iāve said SF should have fired everyone but Harbaugh. I think thatās obvious now. Kaepernick is completely lost. They run an offensive scheme which highlights what he canāt do. The offensive line has no confidence.
Buffalo has 47 accepted penalties so far, which is 9 more than Oakland and Tampa. 9 penalties shoul be about 2 games worth. (Oddly, GB is next!) Buffalo has 428 yards in accepted penalties. NYJ are 2nd with 336: almost 100 yards difference. Meanwhile Rex Ryan will again talk about NE because thatās his obsession.
Jacksonville misses 2 FGās and loses by 3 in OT. No, make that 3 FGās: he missed from 53 for the win but the Colts called time, then he missed again for real, then he missed from 48 in OT. Heās a rookie. Heās already cost them a game.
Two words: Norv Turner. One word: idiot. MN intercepts Peyton - terrible pass - and is at the Denver 29 and, because of an offside, itās 1st and 5, not 10. An FG gives them a tie with 4-5 minutes left while a TD gives them a 4 pt lead. Norv (idiot) calls an end around ⦠against a defense with tons of speed on the outside. DeMarcus Ware forces Mike Wallace out and Wallace jams his hand into Wareās face mask: loss on the play but the facemask penalty moves MN to the 44 and itās 1st and 20. They manage an FG. Denver holds the ball for 3 minutes and gets the winning FG. One dumb Norv call - or is that redundant? If MN scores a TD, Denver has to score a TD and they need to move quickly, which means worst case is MN gets the ball with more time and only needing an FG to tie.
As a friend said to me at the gym today, āI love watching early season Andy Dalton.ā So true. What the Bengals do doesnāt matter because they never win playoff games.
As a 49er fan it is hard to root against Aaron Rodgers, a former Cal Bear. Go Bears! Will Jared Goff be the next Aaron Rodgers? Probably not. Speaking of the 49ers. They are āofficiallyā the worst team in the NFC West.
Iām curious about what you football-savvy people think of Luck. Iāve been hearing a lot of comments about him showing poor judgment on the field this year. I donāt know enough to make my own assessment.
I havenāt watched more than one Colts game this year but based on hearing a few talking heads here and there on the morning radio shows it seems that he may be trying to carry a team that doesnāt have much else going for it. He always was a bit of a reckless gun slinger but it may have gotten worse without a strong team around him. Just a guess . . .
It was too nice out today to stay in and watch football B-)
WTHEdoubetoothpicks was that!!! How do you miss that kick???
Iām not sure if Iāve ever seen anything quite that crazy. I wish xiggi were here to discuss (I canāt believe I just said that)
Exciting now.
