Are you ready for some football?

I enjoy watching remainder of the games on game day after a Hawks victory.

Unbelievable. They pulled off the upset!!!

The Pats seem to be better than almost anyone at plug-and-play.

Here in Philadelphia, for at least seven days and nine hours more, Carson Wentz has been nominated to replace Jesus. He made a few obvious mistakes, but you didn’t need all of your fingers to count them, and the things he did right . . . oh, baby, some of them were really, really right. A week ago, virtually everyone was writing off the season; two weeks ago, the official plan was not even to dress Wentz for games this year. Now, they can’t build bandwagons fast enough for everyone who wants to get on. There’s a decent chance the honeymoon will last a little longer, since the Bears hardly looked like fearsome opponents yesterday.

A lot of the baby quarterbacks seemed to do okay yesterday (and last Thursday).

FG kickers? Not so much.

^ Well, it was against the Browns, so try not to get too excited.

It is interesting how an injury on some other team can completely turn your team upside-down.

In Belichick do we trust. Go Pats!

That was my question - why burn a time out to maybe save a time out by not challenging and getting it wrong? The only reason I could think of was if they’d also lose the right to challenge again? but it was pretty late in the game anyway.

I asked my brother this question, and he knows a lot about football. He thought the decision to take the time out was okay, but I don’t get it.

CJ Anderson is my favorite Bronco, and I think those of you with him on your FF teams should play him! I was sad that he was thinking of leaving last year, but I think he really likes it in Denver. My brother has met him a number of times through his agent (CJ’s agent, not my brother’s) and CJ likes getting out into the community and just having a nice life.

Pretty sure the Patriots could start me at qb and still win.

Les Miles has been fired.

I was coming to post that. HUGE news down here. Can’t tear myself away from ESPN.

It was time for him to move on, but he’s a great guy. And I hope LSU knows what they’re doing firing him at this point. After the fiasco that was the end of last season, I have my doubts about that.

Well, I’ll be! Redskins.

The Giants lost that game themselves with the stupid penalties and Eli’s poor passing judgment.

Stay by your phone with your jersey on. They might need you if Jules goes down.

Same old Jets, despite claims of Bowles being a defensive genius, how the team is not the freak show it was under Rex, we are back to the same thing, a QB who unless playing a high school football team defense cannot make good decisions. 6 picks? Sanchez at his worst had 5. And despite what the pundits said after the game, the defense did not play well, when you turn the ball over at midfield and the other team scores a td, that is bad defense, and KC was able to move the ball against the jets throwing crappy little passes over the middle and the jets couldn’t hand it. The only reason the score wasn’t more lopsided is KC is pretty mediocre, Andy Reid produces teams that look great on paper but are too cautious to ever be great. I am getting tired of these defensive geniuses claiming you win games with defense and a good qb isn’t needed, I am tired of hearing that an offense tailored to a mediocre QB is good enough (NE is an exception, for a lot of reasons, they have brilliant coaches, the Jets do not). Last year was as much the Jets having an easy record (and lost to one of the more mediocre teams in the league, the Bills, the last week), and it shows now that the big kids are out of school and the Jets are playing real teams. Richard Sherman and Cam Chancellor must have big grins, against that defense Fitzpatrick is going to be having accidents in his pants, and while the Seattle O has been boring as hell, they will likely find every whole in the defense and exploit it.

OMG, the Dolphins look like a bunch of walking carrots.Who thought that was a good idea?

The tens of millions the Fins poured into their defensive line is really paying off for them. Not.

Mr. B’s bosses will be in a very bad mood on Monday…

Go Dawgs!

Sirens were blowing non-stop at the Husky Stadium.

Ok, let’s fry some duck!

Jimmy Graham is making Russel Wilson look good.
