Are you ready for some football?

Even I feel sorry for the Cardinals in this game.

Good Lord, what an ugly game.

Gooo Panthers!

I don’t think there is any team that can survive playing their third-string quarterback.

It’s very demoralizing for a defense to know that if you fall behind by a touchdown you have almost no chance of coming back.

Ohio State did!

I know, college is totally different. But honestly, that’s why, in general, I prefer college ball. Crazy stuff happens, especially when the kids screw up. Makes for some very entertaining football!

A lot of NFL teams don’t even carry 3 qbs.

I’m conflicted about the Steelers-Ravens game. On the one hand, I don’t think the Ravens match up against a rested Patriots team, the Ravens’ secondary has been decimated. On the other hand, the Patriots already crushed both Indy and Cincy.

Stat of the day: Matt Stafford has never beat a team with a winning record if he is on the road. He’s 0-16.

They didn’t carry - they cut what’s his name then asked him back then they needed him because he kind of knew the offense. Woohoo!!! INTERCEPTION!!! Go Ravens, Go!!!

Almost nothing makes my day more than seeing “Big Ben” go down hard.

Swarming defense.

Pittsburgh has been unable to stop the blitz. I think the Steelers are done.

Ha! That’s what happens when you put a guy with a concussion back in the game. Instant karma.

Interception. That’s it.

^^^^ interception first play back in!

If he does have a concussion, Pittsburgh should be severely punished for letting him go back in.

Ugh this is just not my year… Alabama looses, and now the Steelers couldn’t beat the Ravens :frowning: Heavy Sigh Now back to work

Can you believe I skipped the evening game to binge-watch Season 3 of Friday Night Lights? Time well spent. Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.

@saintfan–funny that you said “instant karma”. My S had described this as the Karma Bowl–and it turns out that the team who dealt with their “issue” won.

My first reaction was that he made the second step back onto Rogers with an awareness of what he was doing. But after watching a tape that wasn’t focused only on the feet, there was an opposing player right in his face that could have explained another step back. To me, its slightly more likely than not that it was intended, but there is a great deal of reasonable doubt. Maybe the x factor would be his prior behavior.

I read somewhere that he had gone 32 games since the previous “incident”, which is long enough to get him off the “prior offenders” list. In essence, he was treated as a first time offender.

Props to Tate for holding on to the ball. That was a monster hit
