<p>Yes, CT does split their pro sport allegiances between NYC and Boston, but, without a “home” team in the state, college basketball takes on even greater significance here than it might in NY and MA.</p>

I like Kentucky today because Cat’s assistant coach Orlando Antigua was hired this week as head mbkb coach for my alma mater, Univ of South Florida (USF)…starts new job after this weekend’s games… Kentucky has really got its mojo going now and will beat Wisc today. Like both Florida and Conn. My dad is UF alum and Conn. is AAC member with USF…hold overs from Big East conference blowup. Florida will edge out UConn. today. SEC final… Kentucky v. Florida?</p>

<p>I can’t believe these games are not on major networks. TBS TNT and yes the travel channel carry the games? Strange.</p>

<p>H is on a flight to Germany and will miss the games today, unless Lufthansa has wi-fi, then he’ll connect into our Slingbox at home because even if they have TV, they probably won’t carry those channels. And of course if he wants to watch the game Monday night, he will have to get up in the middle of the night to do so. Hoping for a UConn/Wisconsin final since he’s from CT, but did graduate school at UW. </p>

<p>Florida has fallen apart. I’m not a fan of the UConn program at all, but mainly hoping for a Kentucky loss. </p>
