ARRRGGG! Help me choose please! Cornell vs Duke vs Carnegie vs WUSTL vs RPI

Well, I got in Duke, Cornell, Carnegie-Mellon, WUSTL, and Rensselaer.
I don’t really know what I want to major in, not be cause I’m not interested in anything but on the contrary, I’m interested in everything—roughly equally. I’m looking at some type of engineering and possibly management and perhaps pre-med. I will most likely go on to graduate school, but right now from this list I honestly have no idea what to choose, and I don’t have much time left to visit them all.
Duke has the nicest weather and looks like a “fun” place to be (with all the sports and stuff). Plus, it is very good at bioengineering and pre-med. But I heard it’s very southern and kind of preppy (that’s what my teacher told me).
Cornell is, nonetheless, the only Ivy school on my list, with rich history and exceptional reputation. It has a big library, and it has one of the best food in the nation. But it also has like 50,000 students—I’m afraid it’s gonna be too big for me. Plus, it’s out of no where in Ithaca.
Carnegie has somewhat lower quality of life than the first two mentioned, but it has the best program in robotics and computer science in the nation (better than MIT). The food totally sucks, I heard.
The first three I didn’t get any financial aid, mostly because I’m an international student, and the money is very limited.
WUSTL, I don’t know much about it really. It is one of the top schools, has good pre-med program, but I know that it is situated in one of the most dangerous city in US, and rumors say people are nasty there, I don’t know if it’s true or not. And they gave me $10,000 scholarship without me applying.
Rensselaer is a pretty good engineering school, and they gave me practically full boat scholarship, but their other programs are not as strong or famous. Plus, money is not really my major concern; my family isn’t paying.
So, as you can see, I really need help here. I am torn. I don’t know what to choose and it is very frustuating right now when only a month is left.

I would say Cornell or Duke, but if you are really into engineering RPI wouldn’t be a bad choice, although quality of life at the former two would probably be better. Cornell is ~ 20,000 students not 50,000 and less than 13,000 undergrad. I wouldn’t consider Cornell “because it’s an Ivy League school,” but because you like the aspects of the school. I don’t how much I would be using as criteria the reputed quality of the food.

Good grief, every thread I’ve read with Duke in it has the OP wanting to major in engineering, business, or be pre-med.

Duke is NOT Southern AT ALL. It is preppy, though.

Cornell doesn’t have anywhere near 50,000 students. The undergrad and grad populations combined are slightly less than 20,000.

I’d go with WUStL because it provides the best mix of engineering/business/pre-med, good food, friendly students, medium size, and $$$.
