Do ivy universities and other top universities have a lot of art majors? Is it an advantage/disadvantage if you take art there? And no, I don’t want to go to an art school because I want to do pre-med too, but still learn about my passion. :] I’d really appreciate it if you can inform me. Thank you!
Please ignore stats though if you can and think of it in a general way if possible?

My D is in same position, with same interests, and she chose to seek a college that wasn’t just art, like RISD or another art conservatory-type school. She’s been accepted all over and must now decide. We visited UChicago last week for the admitted students event and were unimpressed by the fine art program there, despite the outstanding new arts building. We’re doing Williams, H and Stanford next. Chlee625, please be aware that you’re unusual, just like my D – folks don’t usually want both hard sciences and fine art, so you have to take control of your own path and decision-making. My D doesn’t know yet which she’ll choose. Good luck to you.
