When it says a college offers Fine/Studio Arts as a major, does that include Graphic Design and/or Design/Visual Communications?

And also, when you declare your major at the end of your sophomore year, what does that mean? Does it mean all the classes you take in your junior year has to be in your field of major?

Spazattack, NO, fine arts does NOT necessarily mean graphic deisgn or visual communications. The latter majors are considered “applied art” and not fine art. You need to check out the school and see what they offer.

Declaring a major in your sophomore year means just that: by your sophomore year y ou have to declare a major;however, you can change your major in your sophomore or even junior year;however, the later you change your major the greater the chance that you will have spend more time in school in order to graduate in that major.
