<p>So, my essay is supposed to be a goal statement saying why I’d like to attend DCAD and what I plan to do with my education. Well, I decided to start it off by saying how I’ve had an “inner struggle” deciding if I’d rather go to art school or major in Chemistry; a struggle between the right and left sides of my brain, if you will.</p>
<p>I was wondering if that could give my essay a little creative edge or if it would be considered off-topic, though I’d much rather write an at least slightly interesting essay that isn’t just a run-of-the-mill essay praising the school.
I have a VERY rough draft of the essay completed if anyone would like to take a look at it and critique it a bit.</p>
