Hi,
I am currently enrolled in the visual arts program in the school for contemporary arts of the Simon Fraser University. We only deal with contemporary art in our school. We have a lot of twentieth and twenty-first-century artworks on our campus. We have artworks from both local and international artists. But I always felt like the amount of Canadian artwork here is not enough. It is not enough to study the trends of our artists. Currently, I am doing a study on Canadian artworks of this century as a part of my program. For this, I need to have access to much more of works by local artists to finish my study. My research showed that Toronto has the biggest collection of Canadian artworks in the country. So I am planning to visit Toronto to complete my study.
Can anybody suggest me some art galleries where I can [find contemporary paintings or artworks in Toronto?.]( Contemporary | Roberts Gallery) How vast is the art collection in Toronto?. How many days will it take for me to visit the important artworks there?. Is there a youth hostel to stay?. Or will I have to look in Airbnb?. Somebody from Toronto please help.
