<p>When a college says they want “unmounted photographic slides”, what do they EXACTLY mean by ‘unmounted’? Does it indicate that I even could not add a pure black frame to the picture and mark the number, title, media and completion date? if so, where else should I mark it, on the back of the slides or add an additional sheet?</p>

<p>Generally you would provide a reference sheet, and only note the slide number on the slide itself. =)</p>
