Do laws vary from state to state regarding privacy? Are counselors bound by confidentiality to the extent that student concerns won’t be revealed to other college officials? And what about the warning, here and elsewhere, that when college officials suspect a student might be a danger to him/herself or others, they’ll likely be packed home?</p>
