<p>If you send in a CD of your musical accomplishments, does this incline you to a certain major or put you in a specific group, or is it just an aspect that you can add to your application to make yourself a more desirable applicant (assuming you have talent :))</p>
<p>It just makes you more desirable. Note that admissions officers do not evaluate the material; a professor in your relevant arts field does (he/she then attaches comments about the work which are sent to the admissions office to take into consideration.)</p>
<p>That’s great news for me, because I don’t want to be a music major or anything, but I’m sure the extra material would be nothing but beneficial.</p>
