<p>I am in my junior year of high school, but I’m trying to look ahead for senior year. I was wondering if I could start my arts supplementary material, such as piano auditions. Would it be possible for me to go for a live audition at a college as a junior, or would I be restricted from doing so?</p>
<p>Generally, you’ll be submitting all of it either online, or on a DVD of some sort, or photos in a small portfolio. I’m not sure if there are some schools that would do live auditions- I’m a visual arts major, not performing- but I don’t really think there are many places that would want a live interview. Look into each school separately. And even if they do, don’t worry about doing it until you’re a senior and starting to apply. For now, you can start putting a portfolio of videos of you performing and get it all together digitally, because you’ll definitely need a digital portfolio of some sort anyway.</p>
