As a finance major......

roughly how many financial formulas would you be expected to have memorized or at least should have memorized in order to get a job with a top financial firm? Or does it really not matter seeing as there would be a short-training period at the inception of your career?

When you say a top financial firm, are you referring to IB? Because if you are, there are plenty of ppl that don’t know any formulas, as firms hire majors of all sorts as long as you go to a target (Harvard, Yale, etc)

I highly recommend you check out the Vault guides. There are guides to everything, scoring an internship, getting a job, prepairing your resume, etc. for just about every business profession. They take you into a day in the life as well. I found them very useful preparing for job interviews. See if your business school has free access.
