Based on your comment that “my mother passed away, so I am adopted to a very humble family to US”, I would strongly encourage you to check into QuestBridge.org, [QuestBridge Home Page](http://www.questbridge.org).

QuestBridge specifically targets high achieving, low income students who have overcome obstacles (family income typically under $60,000). They have two programs: The College Prep portion which is designed to equip outstanding low-income students to compete for admission to top-ranked colleges; the National College Match portion pairs outstanding low-income high school seniors with admission and full 4-year scholarships to QuestBridge’s 25 partner colleges. The website has tons of info. for you to look at, but I also found it very insightful to read the Questbridge thread on CC http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/508411-official-2008-questbridge-national-college-match-discussion-help.html.

In 2008, 260 students were offered admission and full 4-year scholarships through the National College Match and 800 additional QuestBridge applicants were accepted by partner colleges through the regular admissions process with generous financial aid.

Best of luck.
