As a mom, the one thing that drives me crazy....

<p>It is shocking to me that my nephews who had as their 1st choice the U our kids attended were both rejected. Their stats actually were excellent–one was a NMF and one near NMF. They both are attending excellent Us, but our kids would have loved for them to attend our kids’ alma maters, where both of our kids had been very happy. When our S was accepted in 2006, they gave all NMFs that they accepted a 50% tuition scholarship, renewable for all 4 years. Now, I don’t believe all NMFs get this merit award, but compete with all other students for it.</p>

<p>It troubles and surprises me how rarely D washes clothes. True, where she’s currently living doesn’t have a washer and dryer, but she has a car and can get herself to a coin operated laundry. When we visit her, washing laundry is one of the activities we end up spending time doing as a trio. ;)</p>
