As a transfer student, if we cannot attend orientation this month

I am also a recent transfer student, but a lot of my friends (and gf) go to Davis. I believe the Pass system is used to register for classes, with Pass I being your first attempt and Pass II being your second attempt into getting the schedule you want.

Sorry if this is obvious information. Just thought I’d throw it out there for people who were confused.

I would suggest formulating the next two years of your stay at UC Davis. Make a list of the classes you’ve taken and have to take. Then, put it in the academic planning worksheet (found here: www.ls.ucdavis.edu/students/forms/academicplanworksheet.pdf), marking which classes do not require pre-req classes so they could be easily moved among the quarters. More often times than not, you will not get into the class you want the first time around, so having back-up classes may come in handy.
