Of my upper division courses will be economics related?

I need 110 credits to graduate in the quarter system, incoming junior

How many credits major/elective

Probably about half, but it depends on which school. Check the web site of the department of Economics in the university in question.

Shouldn’t an incoming junior have at least 90 quarter (or 60 semester) units, since 180 quarter (or 120 semester) units are needed to graduate?

Unit cap is 70 for transfers ill be a junior next year.

70 SEMESTER units… when you convert it to quarter you will enter with 105 units and only need 75 to graduate.

^ bingo. 180 quarter units needed to graduate at UC, equals 120 semester units.

So 1 semester credit = 1.5 quarter credit

^ exactly.
