Ashley Judd instead of Emma Watson

I thought I would start this for fun. D had been thinking it would be “cool” if Emma Watson was attending Harvard. I personally was unimpressed by the idea. But this morning I hear on the news that movie star Ashley Judd would be attending Harvard’s School of Government. I go and wake my daughter share the “good news”. I was greeted with “Who?”. Later when I spoke with my son, I got a similar response.

So, am I really that old or are my kids out of touch? :)

I have no idea who ashley judd is…

I’m a rising sophomore in high school, and I have only the vaguest idea who she is:

Is she related to Wynona Judd? And then somehow the name Naomi comes up… Is that another relative?

The other night Jon Stewart joked that Ashley is the third most famous Judd.

Wynona Judd is Ashley’s older haf-sister. Their mom is Naomi. Ashley is an actress who was in Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood… it was a good movie. But not that famous like Angelina Jolie or Kate Winslet.
