The question is… what’s NOT to love about partial differential equations? <33333

e^x and a constant were walking down the street. They see a differential equation.
The constant begins to run away saying, “Oh no! It’s a differential equation! It’ll reduce me to nothing!”
e^x laughs it off, “I’m e^x! I’m not scared of differentials.”
So he walks up to the differential equation and says, “Hello, I’m e^x.”
The differential says, “Hello, I’m d/dy.”

Tolstoy will do something like linking a seemingly-throwaway image of a flower on page 1244 with a flower that he mentioned on page 523. That guy had a lot of free time. The message of the book is something I have not fully understood as of yet, but it is certainly thought-provoking: [In regard to humanity & history] Neccesity is the form while free will is the content.
