My dad was an average student Ugrad and went to Cornell for free, because they needed more people for agricultural economics. And they had good golf courses. </p>

<p>My parents are using their awesome credit to help me get a big badass loan. Other than that, they may send a little money every couple weeks to help me pay for regular expenses. The actual tuition/room & board/etc. is on me. But that’s ok.</p>

<p>My parents sold thier big house in North Jersey to pay for U-grad for my sister and I. They also have $25,000 bonds maturing for the sole purpose of tuition. I’m on my own for grad school. I’m sure I’ll get some “cash gifts” in my checking account too.</p>
