<p>I watched half of it, I think, but yeah, I thought it was funny. For our senior boys beauty pageant, 3 guys re-wrote the song ‘Thug Mansion’ to be ‘Nerd Haven,’ and it is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard (along those same lines).</p>

<p>i don’t hate any, except baby if it is said by a condescending male, then i would get ****ed off, but i really like “love” especially if said in a british accent :)</p>

<p>I don’t know what I would do…I would probably feel a twinge of jealousy but then kind of laugh because a) my best friend is outrageously flirtatious and b) I tend to end up with very flirty guys. </p>

<p>my best friend wouldn’t do that, but if she did i would talk about why she would do that, tell her it was hurtfull and ask her not to, but not sure b/c i’m very loyal and expect the same from my friends, so haven’t been in that situation.</p>

<p>Nope, haven’t but my sister told ne it is awful, and she likes dickens, so it must be really awfull if she didn’t like it. lol</p>

<p>I’ve read Life of Pi. It was really good, and I’d have to say that it’s one of the best books I’ve ever read. </p>

<p>Hmm, no preference really. Although the one about the beating heart beneath the floor (while fairly cliche) always did intrigue me.</p>
<p>Personally, I thought Heart of Darkness was terrible. I’m pretty sure I slept through the last half of the book while awake. The point of it was worthwhile but the writing and the drudgery just completely lost me on page…2.</p>
<p>rockermcr- Have you ever read Atonement by Ian McEwan? It’s kind of hard to get into (but you figure out why the beginning is boring at the end of the story) and it’s really really good. If you like Saturday, you’d probably like Atonement.</p>
<p>When you started getting pounds and pounds and pounds of college mail (from every place imaginable) in your junior year, what did you do with all of it?</p>
<p>I put it all in this huge box and saved it until the box started overflowing. Then I threw away most of the mail from colleges that didn’t interest me and freed up the box to be re-filled.</p>

<p>yep, applied to Wellesely, at first i was completely against going to a woman’s college, but W is completely self sufficient and has great undergrad programs…better location than all the other woman’s colleges i considered and you can cross reg. @ MIT and Harvard. really it is one of my last choices in my long list of schools i applied to, but i would much rather go thier thatn instate, so hey, i applied.</p>

<p>j07: I’m going to read Atonement once I finish Saturday. I heard a lot of people say that the story was kind of dull. If I could finish Lord of the Flies, I’m sure I can read Atonement :P</p>
