yeah, I waste a ton of time on these message boards, so I figured it would be a fun to learn random tidbits about current and future U of R students.

This topic on the UChicago board is legendary-- they’re up to 237 pages and still going strong.

So, lets revive the Rochester board and discuss more than just stress concerning admission-- lets focus on what makes the U of R and the people that go there amazing :)

Ok, for the first question of the hopefully popular board I’m going with a basic, but highly controversial one-- what happens when you die?

umm you go to heaven? i always wondered what happens when you die… i mean there are some reports of people having near death experiences and seeing bright lights… but it’s weird to think about. oh well, i guess we’ll all experience that someday…

on to a more light-hearted topic for the next person:
what are you doing for spring break?!

going black friday shopping (not that I actually needed anything) planning out my route for when they would open the doors at kohls at exactly 5am and bonding with all the other people who were there-- people I didn’t even know. It kinda made me realize how connected people are, and how willing most people are to starting up a conversation with a (slightly ) caffeinated stranger.

EDIT: well, I’m fairly certain this idea doesn’t really line up with judaism, but I’m a member of the reform momevent, so we’re encouraged to question our beliefs anyway I believe more in reincarnation, until you’ve conquered all your earthy attatchments and then you evolve into one being almost-- kinda like nirva, which I belive to be G-d almost, kinda like the force that allows all things to be interconnected.

on a lighter note lol, favorite time of day?

(ummm typically this type of thread requires a lot of help from the posters-- subscribe to the thread so you know when someone’s answered your question. And everyone can join-- not just if you’re accepted or waiting to be accepted.)

(and parenthesis are little side notes-- I did not forget to ask a question-- conversation simply continues uninterrupted around them.)

My favorite time of day? Hmm…after 12 midnight finishing homework and other random things. Lol, not really…I would say my favorite time of day is around sunset. =) I just love the watching the setting sun. (Nice lighting at that time too, great for photography too. )
