<p>Is the TAP program extremely selective? According to my research, I must be admitted in USC first (notified April 1st) before being admitted into TAP (notified May 1st). However, if they tell me whether or not I’m into TAP on May 1st, which is the due date for admission response for my other schools, does that mean that I have to hit it or miss it with USC TAP program? xD Thanks!</p>

<p>Looking for a great meal plan without eathing at EVK. I was there last week at orientation, and the food was really bad. Any advice on best places to eat, and meal plans etc… </p>

<p>Did you go to Parkside? The Lot? Cafe 84? I personally like the food place in Popovich hall but few people know about it.</p>
<p>Where are you living? Most freshman housing requires a meal plan. If you find yourself hating EVK already you may want to get the Trojan Plan and live off dining dollars since you can use them anywhere.</p>
<p>Honestly, EVK isn’t as bad as everyone says it is. I liked it better than Parkside, mainly because Parkside only serves 3 things and 2 of them are curry (the other is breakfast).</p>
<p>You’ll probably eat at The Lot for quite a few lunches, and they have a good selection. Popovich is very good, but kind of far from everything except the southside dorms. Tutor cafe is quite excellent as well, especially the fresh fruit.</p>

<p>Food service really slows down during the summer, so my guess is that the offerings at EVK are pretty limited until school starts back up.</p>
<p>Cafe 84’s closed for the summer, I think Parkside is closed also. The Lot is open, but limited hours (lunch only)</p>
<p>If you’re a picky eater then cafe 84 is perfect - for example you can get mongolian style chinese (i.e. you load up your bowl with whatever you want and they stir fry it for you), or custom mixed pasta, or whatever.</p>
<p>I rather like the food at Parkside, though :)</p>
<p>Hawkwings is right, I totally forgot about Tutor Cafe, they have pretty good sandwiches.</p>

I am currently enrolled in EALC110 (The Great Tradition with George Hayden) and I am doubting my decision.</p>
<p>The American Experience with Professor Seip fulfills both your GE Cat I and your Diversity requirements. Not to mention Seip is an excellent, animated teacher who puts an interesting spin on American history. I remember one lecture he played the soundtrack to Pocahontas to illustrate prejudicial views against Native Americans in the United States and how it has changed since colonial times.</p>
