Ask a Yeshiva University Student

Hey everybody!

I'm a rising sophomore at YU, and I'd be more than willing to answer any questions you might have about the school-- classes, social life, etc. I've tried a huge variety of classes already in YC and Sy Syms. So go ahead, ask away!

i sent you a PM.

are you in bmp, yp or IBC?

JSS/Mechinah, you?

how would i get from YU to Penn station by train, and how long would it take? Oh, and i am in YP.

Hi, I am Jewish but not hasidic or do not follow every single custom. Will this be a problem? Also, how is the social life are there any parties at all? thanks.

Do many people go straight to YU/Stern instead of Israel?

Hello, next year I will be attending Santa Monica College. I plan on transferring to Yeshiva University as a Poly Sci major. I know I want to go to Penn Law, so I figured that I should major in something I would get good grades in.

How is the Political Science program at YU? How are the professors?

What are the criterea for a full academic scholarship? I heard a few different answers.

Typically students who apply to the Honors program are eligible to recieve a full academic scholarship. All applicants must have maintained a 90 average in high school and have earned a combined SAT score (best critical reasoning and mathematics scores) of at least 1400 or an ACT Composite score of at least 32.
