Shake N Bake is like a powdery thing that breads chicken and stuff. I kind of like it.

What do you think of Hamburger Helper?

Shake N Bake is like a powdery thing that breads chicken and stuff. I kind of like it.

What do you think of Hamburger Helper?

Is this the person I should be gushing about?

Yes.

You don’t know what Shake N Bake is?!?

No! Sorry!

Is Shake 'N Bake the not-chicken that you put in a bag with powdery not-barbeque-sauce-stuff?

Ew.

What do you think of Hamburger Helper?

I don’t.

What’s your favorite magazine? Actor?

Have I been honest with myself?

What did you think of The Sound of Music?

What’s your favorite magazine? Actor?

Glamour and Newsweek
Jack Lemmon

Have I been honest with myself?

I hope so.

What did you think of The Sound of Music?

I hate it. I hate it so much.

Will you tell me a story about you?

Will you tell me a story about you?

Ummm…not today. I’m feeling kind of ehh about stories. Maybe if you’re more specific I can remember one for you.

Was our school’s fall musical The Sound of Music?

Was I in the pit orchestra?

Did I have to hear the play performed (all the way through) SIX TIMES?!?

Does that not even count the other rehearsals?

Did the other clarinetist and I learn (almost literally) every line?

Was it torture!?!

Oh well.

Was it really awkward at lunch today?

Was our school’s fall musical The Sound of Music?

Yes, it was my community’s spring musical. Ugh.

Was I in the pit orchestra?

Yes.

Did I have to hear the play performed (all the way through) SIX TIMES?!?

Ugh. I watched it once and felt sick.

Does that not even count the other rehearsals?

Yikes.

Did the other clarinetist and I learn (almost literally) every line?

Hahaha.

Was it torture!?!

Duh!

Was it really awkward at lunch today?

Oh no.

Would you like to hear about it?

Aren’t salt and vinegar potato chips the best?

Would you like to hear about it?

Yes.

Aren’t salt and vinegar potato chips the best?

Ugh! Gross!

No.

Heh.

At lunch, I told my friends about how enraged I am about the lack of real sex ed, and somehow the conversation got to everyone’s first kiss, which of course half of them happened at this one party in 7th grade. So I just sort of sat there, all quiet, because I hadn’t been invited to that one, and I still haven’t had my first kiss, while this one kid went on about how he was afraid the first time he made out with a girl.

When the bell rang I just walked really fast out of there.

Is that awkward?

Is that awkward?

Nooo. Don’t even worry about it. First kisses are supposed to be special (do NOT ask about mine, because I won’t tell you). And playing Spin The Bottle at a lame 7th grade party does not count as special.

You had to be there. You know everyone noticed how quiet I got then.

Can I ask you how old you were at least?

Can I ask you how old you were at least?

Nope. (:

Alright then.

Why do these girls I stand in front of in the lunch line insist on loudly discussing their sex lives?

Does it skeeve me out?

Don’t worry about it, Snoopy.
One of my best friends, who is literally the prettiest girl in my grade, didn’t have her first kiss until about six months ago.
I’ve yet to have mine.
It doesn’t really mean anything, since 5/6 (random fraction, but I’d say that this is probably an accurate estimation) of the people I know had their first kisses when they/the other person were drunk. Ahem.
I’ve almost had my first kiss several times, but I managed to avoid those unwanted advances.
I’m not so naive as to think that my first kiss will be my true love forever, but I don’t want to settle.
And you shouldn’t, either. Don’t. Worry. About. It.

how do you pronounce the ‘hauteur’ part of your screen name? is it like ‘hotter’?

Why do these girls I stand in front of in the lunch line insist on loudly discussing their sex lives?

That’s so tasteless.

Does it skeeve me out?

Yes.

Oh, but I do. Because my school is oversexed, and not even in the funny way. In the “Birth control? What’s that??” sort of way. But I think I’ll be fine.
