Ask me anything!!!1

Hey guys or gals! I am just finishing up my senior year of high schol and I will be going on to college next year. I am sure some of the rising Seniors or what ever grade you are, even parents have questions about the college process or high school life. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and if you don’t feel comfortable posting it just PM me :D

how low can you go?

^ LOL Really ? 10 char

I need help with the act in June 8 2013 I seen on another post they were sayi g that If you memorize the math and English information the act same math and English material but in different question. I have the real act book and I call act and you can get one of your old test book with the correct answers, so I have mine from April 13 test.

Continued from last post : what was meant that if you memorize the math and English information the act uses same material but different question? Than what information or book or they talking about? Help !

To some extent i do agree I took the ACT twice and it was the same thing just there were different numbers or words plugged in. So for math if you basically know the formulas you are set. for english if you are able to understand the questions for one section your golden because pretty much on the test they repeat the same questions in my opinion. i hope this helps

FYI i used my SAT and didn’t really study for the ACT

Thank you so much for answering my question. I am making sure the math formulas I have memorize.

Let me ask this question with the math
It is basically same math problems with different numbers plug in ? If this is the case I have order from act told me you can get your previous test if taken with in a time frame, I have my test from April 13 from act. Do you think if I know the formulas that If I study how those e question are since I have the last test if will help a great deal for June 8 my second time ? The English I am looking at the act red book and some rules for English. Same thing again look at the act previous test as a guide this will raise my score? I thank you for writing back let me know what you think about these questions. Most people do not know you can get you other act booklet with the answers you have chosen, right answer but they do not show what you did wrong. You have to pay 19.00 . So I know the question must be different or not what you think? Thank you

If you want to you can. But needless to say each test is a little different not that much. I would definitely suggest going over a previous test but also to know all of the math formulas.

Please answer my chance post? Thank you

I Agree I have been going over the math formulas and English rules. The test from act I wanted to see how they had the question because I have he real act book and Kaplan but when I sit down to take the act I get test anxiety and it is hard for me to recognized what formula to use. If you have any tips or advice lease let me k ow the act is this sat. June8. Thank you for helping me .

^^^ no problem I also had a hard time with test because I also have some anxiety but the best advice I could tell you is to get a good nights sleep the night before. DO NOT CRAM it doesnt work and most of the time you end up staying up later than your suppose to because you feel like you do not know anything. with the ACT i would take your time, literally don’t rush to answer questions. if you miss a couple its fine you can just play the guessing game with those because you won’t be penalized for that.

Hi, I’ll be a senior next year, I was wondering how many times should I take the SAT if I’m going to a CSU? I took my first June 1st (procrastinator me!) and I think did pretty well on it.

It depends on how you did on the test. I took the SAT $ times and the ACT 2 times. its really up to you and your budget. I would definitely suggest taking the test again if your scores aren’t what you want them to be but if they are good then I wouldn’t bother
