Wait, so if BIO670 requires Intro to Genetics, then do some lowers ever take Intro to Genetics? I know that most people taking the course are uppers and seniors, but there is a small paragraph at the end of the course description for BIO670 that implies that some uppers have taken BIO670. This must mean that said uppers MOST LIKELY took Intro to Genetics in their lower year.
As for how this information relates to me… As an incoming lower, I have taken Honors BIology at my previous school. I am assigned to taking Intro to Chemistry at Exeter this year. Clearly, I have already signed up for my courses. So is it still possible for me to switch out an elective for Into to Genetics?
Also, if the suggested plan above does not work out, then are there any other ways I can get involved in science at Exeter? (clubs, research opportunities, etc)
