I would like to apply for a position as an English tutor in my CC. As a requirement for the job position, an applicant must have a recommendation from his/her English instructor. However,I took my English course. I was wondering if it would be appropriate to ask my online English instructor for his recommendation because I do not have any other English instructors (Spring 2012 was my first semester.)

Thanks in advance.
