Asking for aid after acceptance

I was admitted to Emory University for ED II.
However, my parents arent happy to pay for the full tuition.
How do I email them to ask for financial aid, because the some of the deadlines were Jan 15…
Do you think they’ll provide aid??

No, you have to ask for aid at time of application. I doubt you will be considered now. You should never have applied ED without agreement from your parents to pay the cost because your application, without asking for aid, was a commitment to attend and pay the fees as stated on the website.

Did you file a FAFSA and do you know if you are even eligible to receive aid from them? Did you run the Net Price Calculator?

All you can do is ask. Maybe they’ll consider it, maybe they won’t.

Your parents had to sign your ED app. What were they saying THEN about paying? Why did you indicate that you would NOT be applying for aid?

Why did you think your parents were going to pay, so you didn’t bother to apply for aid?

Have you already withdrawn your other school apps?
