So, when applying to these colleges, most require letters of recommendations. I’m really confused as to how to approach my teachers on this subject…do I ask them for 2 recs(one for the normal schools and one for the programs)? or how does it work?

Who should I ask- math teacher(had me 1 year, knows me very well, didn’t do so hot in the class though) OR science teacher(knows me, likes me, i improved in class throughout 2 years)? They both would write amazing recs for sure.

I’m so very confused. :/

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP AND I WILL BE VERY THANKFUL TO YOU!
:)

uhh what i would do is just ask them for the college rec first, and hten ask them if later they could do a rec for the program. unless ur doing the program deadline same as college, then just ask them for both, no big deal.

would the programs need to have additional LORs? does this usually only happen if the regular college itself doesn’t require a LOR?

I don’t think the LORs are any different for BS/MD programs.

Most teachers are inundated this time of the year. So, I would suggest giving them a list of your ECs, other interests when you request their LOR.
