I need two recommendations, so I’ve picked out my professors and everything, but next week is the last week of school before winter break. Is it good or bad to ask them right before break? Should I wait until next semester or is that bad because they’ll be stressed about the new semester?</p>
<p>Ask them now while you’re still fresh in their mind but give them a deadline that makes it clear you don’t expect them to work on it over the break.</p>
