I am thinking to pursue pharmacy from high school through a 6 year program. Which out of the schools (Uconn, NEU, Rutgers, URI, MCPHS) would be the best? Especially if I would like to go to industry/fellowship considering the internship they offer and how they set their students up for success. I’m not talking about the prestige/quality of their fellowship but rather specifically the program/education.
I would also appreciate any stats that got you in (particularly for NEU).
If you are looking to go into industry/fellowship, i would focus on Rutgers and NEU 6-year programs because there are a lot of bio/pharma companies in the NJ and Boston metro areas and there are strong fellowship programs there. The Rutgers admissions stats for the PharmD program are here for Fall 2025 admits. NEU is not broken down anywhere i know of, but i am aware of a Fall 2024 admitted student who had GPA 3.8, 1460 SAT at that time. NEU also has co-op built into their 6-year program (usually 2 semesters worth).
