Now that several videos of Rose are circulating on Twitter I’m finding hard to believe that CBS News didn’t know. He has said and done some pretty things that would raise your eyebrows.
A woman in Washington State was badly beaten after confronting a man exposing and fondling himself outside of a grocery store. She will need facial reconstruction surgery. The man is 19 years old and has been arrested.

If these are pictures sent to women he is dating and they had no problem with it, and aren’t minors, I don’t think he should resign. I would just like to know what goes through these people’s minds when deciding to send these kinds of pictures. I’m not a prude, by any stretch of the imagination, but I just don’t get this type of behavior.
I’m sorry, he looks disgusting, leave that stuff to the young folk. Mind you I tell my kids not to do it but my single friends tell me guys love to send d**k pics, even at our age. , ugh!

Men are aroused visually. So is that why they like to send around pictures of their stuff? Do they think it excites women? It really does absolutely nothing for me. YMMV.
This is totally out of control. Hard to believe this is the best we can do as far as leadership is concerned. What an absolute clown.
Though I am wondering how TMZ got a hold of that text and photo. His statement makes it sound like this was a woman he was seeing while his divorce was pending. In that case it was a private communication that should not be published without consent of one of the parties.
I can think of a zillion reasons why I wouldn’t want to vote for Joe Barton, but who cares what he did consensually with other adults? As I understand it he didn’t send any of his nude photos unsolicited to anyone. It seems that these photos were posted publicly without his permission. He seems like a victim here, not a perpetrator.
Can’t believe I’m defending him, but fair is fair.
One wouid think he’d want to leave this alone and put it behind him.
Plus, if he was so worried these pics would get out, possibly ruining his career. - maybe he shouldn’t have sent them in the first place.

And, seriously, do men think that women enjoy seeing these pics? Seriously? I remember years ago we had a similar discussion here on CC when Anthony Weiner was doing the same thing. Who really wants to see that?!
Men get off on visual stimuli. I think they assume that women do the same.
I say it’s about domination. Men who send this type of picture, men who insist on showing what women have no interest in seeing, are demonstrating that they are able to not care what the women who are sent the pictures want to see-- or, as in the case of Weinstein, Louis CK and Charlie Rose, what the women right there want to see.
I don’t believe men who send this type of picture are sending it because they think women want to see it. I think they’re sending it because they want to send it.
Men, like Weiner and this Congressman don’t seem to realize that these photos are turn offs not turn ons. They make themselves look absolutely ridiculous and creepy.
