Assigning letters of evaluation AMCAS

<p>Do you have to wait for the letters of evaluation to be received before assigning them to schools? I know that I can submit my application without assigning letters…my question is if I can go ahead and assign them or if I need to wait until after AMCAS has received the letters from the letter writers? Thanks! Also, you can add more medical schools to your application after submitting, right?</p>

<p>You can add more schools after submission. I believe you can add more anytime all the way to deadline.</p>

No. You can assign them right away and AMCAS will transmit the letters to the colleges once they receive them.</p>

<p>ok thank you that’s what i was thinking I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to be sending blank letters by assigning them too early</p>
