<p>Useful or useless? Is getting one in a foreign language or math marketable or not?</p>
<p>If looking for a job while at school, definitely useful… other than that not really. I ended up picking up three at my CC, hoping it would help in employment search… but they were not very specific, AA in Economics, Global Studies and AS in Natural Sciences.</p>
<p>Given the economy, and my lack of motivation after a few weeks searching they turned out to be… nice pieces of paper hanging on the wall. But it definitely helped motivate me to work hard and schedule classes very carefully.</p>
<p>I got mine while fulfilling IGETC. I just took classes that filled requirements for both. You may as well get it if you can. I have two, one in math and one in Liberal Arts and Sciences (actually I won’t complete the math one until the end of this semester). I have no idea how useful they are.</p>
