At least three dead from terrorist attack on P.P. in Colorado Springs

Appaently they make lovely chairs. Rocking chairs too http://inhabitat.com/elaborate-throne-made-from-mozambiques-decommissioned-weapons-makes-for-an-impressive-regal-chair/

Oh my.

Doesn’t look particularly comfortable.

Yeah. It’s, um, beautiful.

RE post #40 @“Cardinal Fang” I was referencing the person ahead of me who speculated that these might not be called “terrorist attacks” for purposes of claiming “no terror attacks on my watch.” I meant that while still domestic terrorism for sure, this does fall into a different category in my mind for tabulation than ISIS or Al Qaida planned and executed attacks on our soil. I was not trying to minimize terror attacks committed by “lone wolf” gunmen which were inspired by domestic terrorist organizations Operation Rescue.

And Jym - I made a comment naming someone who recently touted his close ties to and endorsement by the founder of Operation Rescue - a domestic terror organization. It appears to have been removed but the fact remains that these groups have been given cover by mainstream prominent people of power.

It makes no sense to me to cower in fear of radical Islamist attacks, to the point of barring innocent refugees, while ignoring the white Christian terrorists who are the ones committing terrorism right here right now. The attack in Colorado Springs is far from the only terrorist attack on abortion clinics in the last few months.

Actually, pirates worked for themselves (though they were often considered an enemy).

But no motive has been established . . . 8-|

And the very false terrorist propaganda leads to very real deaths.
Again.
And again.
And again.

Has it been established that this guy is a Christian terrorist?

It’s been established now that he’s a terrorist (“no more baby parts”) and the cross on the outside of his house suggests what his religion is. In any case, the other Planned Parenthood terrorists typically turn out to be white Christian terrorists.

I hadn’t read about the cross outside his house. Which is why I asked.

Let me rephrase that: the other Planned Parenthood terrorists ALWAYS turn out to be white Christian terrorists. Bombers, arsonists, vandals-- they always say they’re doing Jesus’ work, and a look at Twitter shows they have many people who agree with them. The hooligans who assault patients at clinics also are white Christians.

Can you please just stop with the Christian bashing?

How about presenting some evidence that what Cardinal Fang says is inaccurate?

What I meant about the pro-life terrorists is that they claim to be committing their crimes in service of their Christian beliefs, unlike, say, a bank robber who was a Christian/Muslim/Jew/atheist but who robbed banks for the money, not in service of his Christian/Muslim/Jewish/atheist principles. Obviously the vast majority of Christians do not agree that murder and arson are in any way Christian, but the terrorists believe they are doing God’s work.

All evidence in this terribly tragic case points to a deeply mentally disturbed loner with no known affiliation with any church or group so far. Everyone is of course entitled to use this tragedy to advance whatever agenda they choose. It’s just that when a self-proclaimed Islamist uses a perverted interpretation of the Muslim faith to behead, burn alive or shoot innocent civilians, the same individuals who are so fiercely attacking Christians are the first to leap in to scold anyone who dares to suggest that (some) Muslims bear some responsibility for creating an environment where this sort of activity develops. Apparently while it’s a terrible thing to tar all Muslims with the same brush (and I agree, it is), it’s a moral imperative to blame Christianity for every awful thing that happens to Planned Parenthood or any other abortion providers.

I guess I’m the only one who finds this to be a bit…unfair.

Joblue, you’re acting as this were the first time a Christian terrorist attacked a Planned Parenthood clinic, instead of just one more act of terrorism by the violent wing of the Christian pro-choice movement. There have been four arson attacks on Planned Parenthood clinics since July! Irresponsible propagandists spread lies about Planned Parenthood, knowing full well that loony violent Christian terrorists will respond with deadly violence, as they always do. The propagandists know what they are doing, and they rejoice when they succeed.

Attacks on PP are almost always (and always as far as I can remember) committed by Christian terrorists the same way that ISIS attacks are carried out by Muslim terrorists.

Is that an indictment of the entire religion? Of course not. Is it saying that there is a terrorist element within certain religions? Yup. And there is one within every single major world religion that I can think of off the top of my head.
