At my HS, a 3.0 is equal to a 75.

Is this right?

I thought a 3.0 was around a 85 or so.

Well if your school goes off a 4.0 scale, then yes, a 3.0 is a 75. Simple division. 3/4 = 0.75 x 100 = 75. An 85 would be a 3.4: (85 x 4)/100 = 3.4

hmm...What is the best scale I wonder?

lol raveflare, ive never seen a school do that.

on the 4.0 scale, a 3.0 SHOULD be a solid B (85). thats how all colleges do it, and thats how most 4.0 highschools do it too.

I think it all just depends on the school. My school goes on a incredibly weird weighted GPA scale, and a 3.0 is equal to a ninety, a 4.0 equal to a hundred, etc. For example, a 3.7 is equal to a ninety-seven average.
