I just got an iPhone a few weeks ago, and I literally have absolutely zero reception where I live. Not even one or two bars - nada. I can’t even make calls (or receive calls). Is reception better at UCSB/IV? The odd thing is I don’t even live in some small secluded village; I live in Orange County. :x

Anyways, is an iPhone at UCSB/IV a good combo?

I know this isn’t going to help much, but I’ve always found cell phone reception to be pretty hit or miss. People have told me a carrier’s reception sucked when it’s worked fine and vice versa. Guess you’ll just find out when you get there It can’t possibly be worse than what you have right now (unless the reception itself isn’t the issue, but rather the phone or something)

I had AT&T when I attended UCSB from 2005-2008. It was horrible in Manzanita when I lived there but perfect pretty much everywhere else on campus.

Hm, I’m currently deciding between working at Carillo and Ortega. Considering Carillo is near (or in?) Manzanita, maybe I should work at Ortega. o.O
