<p>You’ll have a great time at Columbia, and in NYC, if you come with an open mind willing to embrace all sorts of people…from the preps to the chain smokers and then some. Crew is a self selecting preppy sport, even when it’s happening is the Hudson River. The dating pool should be fine but elitist is never fun.</p>
