What do you think the minimal academic standards are for a recruited athlete at Harvard, Yale and Princeton. I know noone really knows but what is your opinion?
<p>Depends on the sport- can be lower for football/basketball/ice hockey. The other sports I would say probably not many below 1200, even for top recruits.</p>
<p>How about lacrosse? And Im looking for info on the “whole package” eg sat, sat II’s, gpa’s, etc. I did alot of research on the subject but I cant find the “academic index bands” the schools use.</p>

<p>The top athletes from our city who went HYPS had at least a 1200 SAT-I and a 3.5 unweighted GPA.</p>
<p>When you’re recruited, you’ll be giving the coach your relevant stats. The coach will have an idea what your chances are and should let you know (especially if you’re too low).</p>
