short, quick question…I’m a junior in high school and I hope to play baseball in college. I want to go to West Point and someone mentioned that I needed an athletic CV and needed to get that in soon. What exactly is that and how can I get one?

Basically it’s just a summary of your athletic achievements to date; i.e. batting average, other stats, awards, captaincies, etc. in other words an athletics resume(cv). If you have any tape that would help too as well as testimonials from coaches; newspaper clippings help as well.

okay thank you very much!

Baseball my come in handy some day. Grenades are about the same size as baseballs after all…;)

envee–

Funny you should mention that. LT. Buck Compton, of Band of Brothers fame, played baseball in college. During the Brecourt assault, he threw a grenade at a fleeing German. “The grenade had a perfect arch, and exploded as it struck the German in the back of the head.” --paraphrased from Band of Brothers

So…maybe baseball should be a required sport for all you army yahoos.
